Sierra Castillo
Hi! My name is Sierra Castillo and welcome to my site. When I was just 5 years old I started drawing horses, especially Spirit from the Disney movie "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron". Now I am in my first year of college and majoring in art of course! Currently my work is for sale in restaurants, online and other places. I have even been doing book cover design!
The photo above is from a market I worked and this lady bought my steampunk Kitty Kitty painting. She was nice enough to come back and have a photo together after she had it framed. The photo below is of a painting that is hanging in the Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington, NC. They do a show called North Carolina State of the Art - Art of the State and people come from all over the state to enter and have their work reviewed. This year one of the many curators that came was Laura Hoptman, Curator in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, NY. I was fortunate enough to have her review my painting and she was quite impressed!
I am excited and ready for an amazing future as an artist and I hope you enjoy my work!
